Dodge Park Reaches Out
As a new resident of Dodge Park, I’m learning the many ways this home reaches out to residents and the community.
After the December 11th ice storm, Administrator Ben instructed the Day Club staff to call all its members to find out their status. Many phone calls were made and two people were found to be trapped in their homes with out power.
Ben took the Dodge Park van out under dangerous conditions to pick up an elderly man and woman and bring them to Dodge Park to reside until their homes were safe to return to.
Swift action by Dodge Park gave two people a warm and safe home away from home.
