Lorraine (Granger) Boucher, 84, of Worcester passed away Friday, Feb. 18, after a period of declining health, with her family by her side.
Her husband, Reynold J. Boucher to whom she was wed for over 40 years, passed away in 1992.
She had also lost her oldest daughter, Janine Remick, in 2004.
She is survived by her four children, Michelle McGrath and her husband, John, of Charlton, Paul Boucher and his wife, Virginia, of Maryland, Theresa O’Malley and her husband, Paul, of Clinton, and Gerard Boucher and his wife, Dawn, of Worcester; a sister, Germaine Belmonte and her husband, Armand, of Worcester, seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was born in Worcester, a daughter of George E. and Alba (Gravel) Granger; she graduated from Ascension High School and the Worcester School of Business Science and lived here most of her life.
She worked as a medical coder for Pathology Associates for many years. She was a member of St Stephen’s Church.
The funeral was held Tuesday, Feb. 22, from the Mercadante Funeral Home and Chapel, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass in St Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial followed in Notre Dame Cemetery.
