Genevieve (Kulesza) Gulbicki, 93, died peacefully January 4, 2011 with her children by her bedside at Dodge Park Rest Home.
Her husband, Charles Gulbicki, died in 1989. She leaves her son, John C. Gulbicki of Barre; her daughter, Beverly J. Ferris and her husband James of Holden; a sister, Anna Zybas of Worcester; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and her son-in-law, Willard M. Sweetser. She was predeceased by her daughter, G. Patricia Sweetser; her grandson, Michael Gulbicki; her brothers: Stanley, Frank and Walter Kulesza; and 3 sisters: Mary Libuda, Veronica Albe and Josephine Kosnick.
Born in Worcester, daughter of Peter and Catherine (Kopaniarz) Kulesza, she attended St. Mary’s High School. She was a member of St. George’s Church, an avid gardener, and she treasured her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Monday, January 10 from Caswell-King Funeral Home, 474 Grove St., with a 10 a.m Mass in St. George’s Church, 40 Brattle St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 2-4 Sunday, January 9 in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. George’s Church, 40 Brattle St., Worcester 01606.
