WORCESTER-Clare J. (Rourke) Healey, 89, passed away Saturday, December 04 at Dodge Park Rest Home. Her husband of 52 years, Stephen H. Healey, Jr. died in 2001. She leaves her two children, Stephen J. and his wife Kristi McKenny of Oakland, CA and Joan E. Benoit and her husband Alfred of Spencer; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Helen Souda and Grace Kalil.

Mrs. Healey was born in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Charles J. and Mary J. (Donahue) Rourke and graduated from Ascension High School and Salter Secretarial School. She worked as a claims representative at the Worcester Social Security Administration for 13 years retiring in 1984. She was a member of Notre Dame Alumni Association Ascension Chapter and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Dodge Park Rest Home for the excellent care given to their mother during her time there.

Clare’s funeral will be on Tuesday, December 7 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., with a Mass at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 25 Fales St. A visiting hour will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the funeral home before church. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
