Jacquelyn M. Henry, 81, a resident of Dodge Park, died Monday, December 14, 2009 at St. Vincent Hospital.
Miss Henry was born in Worcester, daughter of John E. and Frances (Foley) Henry and lived in Worcester most of her life. She was a graduate of the College of New Rochelle in New York.
She was a teacher in the Worcester Public Schools for many years, before retiring. For most of her career, she taught Spanish at Burncoat High School.
Miss Henry was a member of the College of New Rochelle Alumnae Association, Our Lady of the Rosary Parish and the Educational Assn. of Worcester.
She leaves many cousins including Richard H. Goss of Lecanto, Fla., Peter L. Goss of Salt Lake City, Utah, Peter E. Foley of Leominster and Walter F. McGovern II of Worcester.
The funeral Mass will be Tuesday, December 22 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 25 Fales St., Worcester. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
The Athy Memorial Home, Worcester, is directing arrangements
