Charles W. Nadeau, 75, died Sunday, January 2, 2011 in the Dodge Park Rest Home, Worcester, following an illness. His wife, Sandra (Arnet) Nadeau, died in 2002. He is survived by a cousin, Elizabeth Valk, of Whitinsville.
Mr. Nadeau was born in Michigan, May 14, 1935, the son of Wilfred and Ada (Wood) Nadeau. He lived in Michigan most of his life prior to moving here in 2002.
He was employed by the Warren, Michigan school system, beginning as an elementary school teacher, becoming a school principal, and retiring as Superintendent of Schools in 2001.
He was a 32 degree Mason.
Mr. Nadeau’s memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, January 12, in the Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill Street, Whitinsville. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
