Mary T. (Donoghue) Thomas, 92, passed away Saturday, January 2. Her husband of 44 years, William A. Thomas predeceased her. She leaves her daughter, Teresa A. Flood and her husband Matthew and her grandson, Sean P. Flood all of Worcester and several nieces and nephews. Her two sisters, Teresa R, Case and Catherine Pietro and her two brothers, Roger F. Donoghue and Rev. John Donoghue, S.J. predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of John J. and Teresa R. (Dervin) Donoghue. Mrs. Thomas worked as a claims assistant for the Social Security Administration for several years then as a secretary for the Worcester Public Schools. She was a long time member of our Lady of the Rosary Church and its former Friendly Folks Club, the Guild of Our Lady of Providence, Mechanics Association and Worcester Business Professional Woman’s Club.
The family would like to thank the Dodge Park Rest Home and Jewish Home Hospice for the wonderful care given to Mary.
