Message from Ben Herlinger & Micha Shalev, MHA
Welcome to the web site of Dodge Park Rest Home, The Adult Day Care and Dusk To Dawn programs. Many people in the community know us as Dodge Park. Opened in 1966, the facility has a proud heritage as one of the oldest facilities serving elders and frails in the Worcester area. Ben, Carrie and myself are honored to have been the responsible people taking Dodge Park Rest Home services into the future and extending a promise of collaboration and commitment to offer state of the art long-term care services through a personalized approach to our residents and participants.
Every day at Dodge Park Rest Home, (The Adult Day Care and Dusk To Dawn), our residents, participants and staff live life to the fullest. We are aware of the precious nature of life, and the care of our residents and participants is one is our highest priority.
Our goal at Dodge Park is to provide effective and efficient services and personalized care that results in better opportunities, independence and community access for people who experience significant memory loss and those who are frail. The facility offers comprehensive services that are customized to each person’s specific situation. Care professionals are available to come to the facility, delivering specialized independent and assisted living.
As you explore the contents of this new and exciting web site to learn more about Dodge Park services, you will find brief summaries of programs as well as detailed program information.
Dodge Park Rest Home Center has always been progressive in its development of new programs and services. Whether providing in-service training for our staff, hosting medical conferences and continuing education to professionals in the geriatric field in our social room, or serving as a pilot program for innovative care, the Dodge Park Rest Home Center is consistently striving to lead the way in caring for the frail and elderly alike.
Our vision for the future includes expanding the scope of our services to include non skilled home care and alternative therapies as well as to expand our current offering of the adult day care and Dusk To Dawn services. We stand true to our mission of helping adults remain as independent as possible for as long as possible and providing them with best possible care when needed. Just as we have led the way in long term, we continue to pilot new programs that will improve the quality of life of the frail and the elderly that still reside at home in our community by providing quality care in a compassionate way.
Your ideas and suggestions are always welcomed and encouraged, so please feel free to call, e-mail or write us with recommendations.
